The working details
Electrochemical Sensing With a Pump
Two upgrades over every other breathalyser in the range: a fuel-cell style electrochemical sensor, and an internal pump that draws a measured sample rather than relying on how hard someone blew.
Why Both Matter Together
A semiconductor sensor responds to alcohol and to other vapours. An inconsistent breath sample produces an inconsistent reading. Fixing one without the other leaves the result arguable — this fixes both.

Where a result is recorded, acted on, or challenged — workplace testing, fleet operations, licensed premises — sensor class and sampling method are the first two questions asked.
Runs on Two AA Cells
No charging cycle to manage between shifts, and spare cells cost nothing to keep on hand.
