The AK3 With Its CO₂ Sensor Upgraded
Same 98 × 32 × 67 mm body, same five readings, same 50-per-carton pack. The one change is the CO₂ channel: a semiconductor element becomes infrared NDIR.
What Infrared Changes
NDIR reads how much infrared light the air absorbs, instead of how a heated surface reacts to it. It does not drift with humidity and is not thrown by alcohol gel, perfume or cleaning spray — the three things that most often corrupt a semiconductor reading.
A CO₂ Figure You Can Quote
Where a semiconductor tells you the direction, NDIR gives you a number stable enough to put in a ventilation assessment and compare month to month. TVOC, formaldehyde, temperature and humidity continue alongside — five readings in total, nothing traded away.
